A family business

Drive My Website was born out of our own frustrations as learner drivers looking for the right instructor. Like everyone would, we took to the internet to research our decision only to find an array of driving school websites that all looked more or less the same.

It wasn’t just their sameness that failed to entice. We often struggled through slow-loading sites with broken buttons, websites physically impossible to navigate on our mobiles, or just a general lack of information to the questions we wanted answered.

Learning to drive is an expensive journey and we wanted to find driving instructors with the kind of websites that put us at ease and promised a quality service.

Of course, we didn’t blame the instructors – they had teaching to do. Besides, building a website can be daunting and time-consuming. That’s where we felt we could help…

Whilst out on a driving lesson, Lee raised the subject of websites with his instructor, who knew of his marketing background. Without any prompt, the instructor went on to talk at length of his own confusion when trying to start a website some years ago, eventually giving up. He mentioned friends in the industry who had similar experiences.

Keen to help, Lee spent the remainder of the lesson explaining a range of topics from domain registration and website hosting to search engine optimisation (SEO). By the time they pulled up outside his house, he had been hired for his first driving website project.

When Joe, Lee’s brother, heard about this, he approached his own instructor about updating her old website. These two projects confirmed that driving schools wanted help marketing themselves online. Since then, we have helped numerous instructors and built a growing portfolio, culminating in our own driving school website design agency.

We’d love for you to be part of the next chapter! Lee and Joe
